  Indy's Gamble: Happy Trilogy Rules

1) The game
This game is for 2 - 6 players. It is suitable for younger children. It is also known as "Go Fish!".
2) To play this game you need ...
... for 2 - 4 players: the character cards (friends and foes) and the artifact cards from the Indy's Gamble set
... for 5 - 6 players: the character cards (friends and foes), the artifact cards and the location cards from the Indy's Gamble set
3) Game setup

a)

Put all the cards you need depending on the number of players into a deck.

b)

Shuffle the deck and deal 5 cards to each player. Put the rest of the deck in the center, face-down for the "cinema".

c)

Players arrange their hands and lay any sets face-up in front of them. A set are four cards of the same type from the same film (example: four weapon cards from Temple of Doom).
4) Game play

a)

The player to the dealer's left starts by asking another player for a movie card by the card type and film name (example: "A friend from Raiders of the Lost Ark").

b)

If you have the card asked for, give it to the player; if you don't have the card, tell the player to "Go watch a movie!" The player then draws a card from the "cinema".

c)

Players keep their turn as long as they get the card asked or watched for.
When one player is out of cards the game is over. The person with the most sets of cards wins.
5) Game variations

a)

Easy Game
Follow standard play, but lay down pairs instead of sets of four cards.

b)

Advanced Game
Follow standard play, except when a player is out of cards, but there are still cards in the "cinema", the player will draw up to five more cards and play continues. When the "cinema" is empty, the players can continue asking each other for cards until one person is out of cards. The person with the most sets wins.
